After LIFT08 and the tour of the particle accelerator at CERN, I took a train to the Alps. Thank goodness I had Joanna Macy (and Ben Segal... Tim Berners-Lee's mentor) there for some balance. Talk about juxtaposition. Ben was the bridge between what seemed like binary worlds.
