Thanks so much! Im also looking forward 'blogging' and meeting new people, getting new ideas, infos! Lets see..:)
I saw your advert for this group on the Skip list and am often on our Creative Cafe group on Ning so came over and joined up. We are friendly and welcome new members on Creative Cafe as well so feel free to join us. I will now have a look around this site and see what is going on.
Nice to meet you.
Bye for Now

I like your site though and will try and be involved when I can.
I guess I would be thinking about what the objective is - and who the audience is. Who are the young people writing for? Who is the primary audience and the secondary audience?
Is it the young people themselves? The decision makers who could make their lives better? Working on that first should help shape the message...
(Of course, it doesn't have to be writing. A scanned picture / a photo of a flip-chart of post-it notes, a video clip... all of those could have massive impact on a blog - and the medium may be more accessible and conducive to conversation and group work than working at a keyboard and screen (I might even prepare some visual aids / photo cards etc. if it's possible that the young people may have limited literacy)... the role of the blog is a publishing platform).
There is also something about audience building as much as blog building. When you know who the young people think of as their audience - how can you make sure their audience are reading/viewing and responding to what they write - and opening up a dialogue...
Would love to hear more about the project as it develops.... would you be around to talk about it at the UKYouthOnline BarCamp
